Edmonton, Alberta – April 4^th, 2024 - Wild TV announces that its sister company, Recoil Creative Group, has extended their partnership with CANIS, for its fourth consecutive year, to deliver Season 14 of The EDGE to hunting TV fans. The EDGE, hosted by Steve Ecklund and Joe Eppele, is set to deliver fresh episodes, featuring both international and domestic (Canadian) hunts, on Wild TV’s cable channel the first week of April. Season 14 will also be accessible through Wild TV – LIVE!, a live broadcast stream of the network on Wild TV’s streaming service, Wild TV+. Wild TV, announces that their content partner, Wes David, host and producer of Fishing the Wild West TV, has joined forces with the distribution company Core-Mark to deliver fishing tackle to Canadians via convenience stores located on the way to bodies of water across the country. Wild TV will begin running commercials on its network this month to inform their extensive national audience that David’s favorite fishing gear, manufactured by companies he currently collaborates with for Fishing the Wild West TV, can be purchased at participating stores starting May 1^st of this year. Edmonton, Alberta- February 14^th, 2024- Wild TV, which is Numeris-rated as the most-watched, major outdoor programming provider in Canada*, announces that their content partner,Vanessa Harrop, co-host of Canada’s longest-running, independently produced television hunting series, Outdoor Quest TV, was recently awarded the Bob Speegle Super Slam Summit Award in the rifle category by Grand Slam Club/Ovis (GSCO) at the Safari Club International convention in Nashville. This award is named in honour of Dr. Robert Speegle, who is the first hunter to register two Super Slams, one with rifle and one with bow. This award recognizes the top overall North American trophy submitted with rifle as voted on by a GSCO committee. Harrop won the award for a muskox she took in 2022 with Canadian Wildlife Adventures in the Northwest Territories. The bull ranks number four overall in Boone and Crockett and number two in the Safari Club International rifle category. Harrop is the first woman to receive this prestigious award. In 2022, Harrop also became one of only 14 women to complete her Super 10 of North American big game.
