Edmonton, Alberta- January 25th, 2023- Wild TV, which is Numeris-rated as the number one outdoor programming provider in Canada*, has renewed their content partnership with canine trainer and behaviorist Kristi King for a third year. King’s production, K9 Kris, focuses on specialty dog training, and features behind-the-scenes experiences at different rescues as well as the diversity of the dog world.

King commented about her partnership renewal with Wild TV: “We have chosen Wild TV because they have a great team always willing to help with any questions about navigating the television industry."

Scott Stirling, Vice President of Wild TV, responded: “I’ve found that Kristi King’s expertise in canine psychology holds so much value when I’ve applied it to my own dogs, and I’m proud that Wild TV is providing viewers with an opportunity to learn from her 20 years of experience as a trainer. Her show also offers fans like me an opportunity to see examples of all the wonderful work rescue associations do in Canada. We’re proud to be able to spotlight that on the network. The bonus for those out there that want to alter their dog’s behaviour is that we also offer K9 Kris on the Wild TV App, so these educational episodes are on-demand, downloadable, saveable, and of course portable via cell phone for when you need to do some outdoor work with your furry pals!”

About K9 Kris

Kristi King takes her film crew out on the road and interviews experienced dog people of all kinds to learn about their sport or dog passion. K9 Kris also features different classes taught at King’s own training centre. One of K9 Kris’ main goals is to show people what is out there and available for their dogs and themselves, as owners, to do together. The show aims to reveal that there are many sports that dogs and their owners can do that many people don’t know about. King believes educating her viewers on these activities can help people get their problem dogs on a better and newer path in life, and become less problematic going forward. She hopes her education of audiences will contribute to less dogs being surrendered. K9 Kris also promises to take viewers on other adventures that occur in her daily life, and bring audiences along with her to other animal events for the chance to learn about other species as well!
